Configure Dynamic DNS

Dynamic DNS (DDNS) automatically and periodically updates your DNS server IPv4 or IPv6 information when your IP address changes.

This task is part of the network policy configuration workflow. Use this task to to configure DDNS as part of a network policy.

  1. Go to Configure > Network Policies.
  2. Select an existing network policy, and then select Edit, or select Add.
  3. After you save the Policy Details, select 5 Branch Routing.
  4. From the Additional Router Services menu, select Dynamic DNS.
  5. Toggle Enable Dynamic DNS to ON.
  6. Select a DDNS provider.
  7. Type a Username.
  8. Type a Password.
  9. Optional: Select Show Password to see the password.
  10. Type the Domain Name, which must be the full router name and domain name.
    The router host name must be unique.
  11. Select SAVE.
